Peter H. Worlock DM FRCS
Peter Worlock is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon based at
Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne.
His specialist interest in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery is in the management of injury to the musculo-skeletal system – both acutely and in post-trauma reconstruction. Within this field, Peter has particular expertise in treating complex limb injuries, pelvic/acetabular fractures, children’s fractures and in the management of non-union/mal-union after fracture.
Peter was a founder member of the British Trauma Society in 1988 and served on the Executive Committee between 1989 and 1995.
Medico-Legal
Peter has been in medico-legal practice since 1988 and has been listed in the UK Register of Expert Witnesses since 1990. He has given evidence in court on 50 occasions and was a founding member of the Society of Expert Witnesses.
Peter is on the recommended list of medical experts for both APIL and AVMA and currently see over 200 claimants a year for preparation of medico-legal reports.
